Status: Praying to God but not through Jesus...
Music: When You Believe - Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston

I was wasting time at the Grandstand when this guy in his mid-20s approached me and offered me something. He showed me a wallet-size two-picture thingy (the type that changes when being moved, I don't know what it is called). Anyway, he was selling it for P50 or he said, if I buy 3, then he'd give them all for a hundred bucks.
Before he even started I'd already told him that I am NOT, NOT, NOT a Christian. But nooo, he began telling me how important the crucifix is for people, and how it should remind us of salvation and stuff. And I couldn't take it so I said once again, "Excuse me but I don't believe in Jesus. I wouldn't even want to call him Christ, for Christ's sake!"
I thought it would finally occur to him that I was really NOT, NOT, NOT interested. But sheeet, HANGKULET.
So what's the best thing to do? I whipped out my yosi and smoked all the way. Sometimes, having a pack with me really helps to drive the bad forces of nature away. Heehee.
(Poor Yoshke).
And as far as legal documents are concerned, I'm still a Christian. As if I had a choice when I was, what, 6 months old?!?
Don't get me wrong, I have a God. And I love my God so much. My God may even be the same God as yours. I really just don't think He would actually send someone to save the world from all the sins chorvah. I don't buy that. What I buy is the idea that since Emperor Constantine The Great's reign, the Church has been manipulating the Bible --- hiding thousands of books and letters and modifying every detail to conquer every corner of the world through Jesus and God.
I believe Jesus existed. But I don't believe in his miracles. And yes I agree, he somewhat changed the world but not because it was the will of God..... but of the Roman Empire.
And oh, I love Christmas.
And this post has nothing to do with The Da Vinci Code.
It's plain and simple. I DON'T BELIEVE IN JESUS. Period.

| yoshke February 4, 2006 02:37 PM PST BUDDY!!!!!!!! "pero kunsabagay, kristus meant another thing and does not stand for Jesus alone." EXACTLY. But, yung "For Christ's sake", expression ko lang yun. And I just said that to add humour actually. Although some people will surely not find it funny. Kebs. Ang point ko lang, since I don't believe in Jesus anymore, what's the point of calling myself a Christian? di ba? E yun nga yun e. | ||
| jhul February 4, 2006 05:40 AM PST I quote:"Excuse me but I don't believe in Jesus. I wouldn't even want to call him Christ, for Christ's sake!" Parang mejo contradicting yata, for a nonbeliever to invoke Christ's sake. pero kunsabagay, kristus meant another thing and does not stand for Jesus alone. On the other hand, sino ang Christ na iniinvoke mo jan sa statement mo? :P | ||
