Now that the World Cup is over, watching CNN International has again become painful. Not because they deliver news badly but because they only have bad news now. Let's see... the Middle East crisis (in case you don't know, idiot, I'm talking about the tension between Lebanon and Israel), the 39 landslides in Baguio City, the Mumbai bombings, the plane crash in Siberia, the mere appearance of President Bush, and Zenedine Zidane's head-butting display.
Good thing the beautiful Monita Rajpal, her partner cutie-pie Max Foster, funny guy Michael Holmes (I might be the only one who finds this man funny but I really love it when he makes comments on the issues; he has this wickedly weird sense of humour and sarcasm), the very sexy weather girl Jenny Harrison and the strangely attractive Mr. Sport Know-it-all Don Riddell (I sooo love his lips) are still there. And although I'm starting to develop a certain immunity to bad news, the good news is these anchors and reporters sort of balance things up. These people --- to die for.
