Music: I WIll Remember You - Sarah Maclachlan
You,
SATURDAY NIGHT. I was in Paco, Manila to join Mae as she celebrated her birthday. It was a really nice videoke party. And the food was fabulous. Wow. It's a good thing I decided to come to the party. Because if it weren't for a dose of Advil, I would have decapitated myself because of a really terrible headache. That headache was part of my hangover after consuming more than 11 bottles of beer the night before.
FRIDAY NIGHT. Drinking 11 bottles of beer was actually the result of a series of meet-you-there-and-let's-talk events. Last Friday night, from work (our office is in Ortigas), I met up with Josh and had dinner somewhere in Philcoa. He just arrived from Bangkok and that night he would go back to his province (Ilocos). We stayed together until some relative picked him up. It was a pretty cheap, yet indulging dinner. And hey Josh, you said you bought something for me when you were in Bangkok? Where is it? (But anyway, as I said before, everything is cheaper in Thailand, hehe. But it's the thought that counts so you better give it to me before the next term starts.)
After the dinner with Josh, I went back to Ortigas to meet Madonna (no, definitely not the singer). We were supposed to have dinner together but since I already had it with Josh, I just ordered beer for myself and some rice toppings for the girl. I had two buckets --- a bucket contains four bottles of beer. Madonna had one, so I consumed seven bottles that early. I'm really starting to think that I have a gift of having high alcohol-tolerance level.
And then, Dohna, Rex, Ian, Mimay and Kit asked me to meet them at Sidebar Cafe (it's a bar), just a couple of blocks away from where Madonna and I were staying. So we walked our way to the bar. I was surprised I could still walk the line despite the amount of alcohol saturating my blood. At Sidebar, I had several bottles of beer. But every 20 minutes, I would go to the restroom and pee. But I promised myself not to drink too much beer anymore. Aside from it realy puts my head in utter pain, I also always end up paying for more than half of the entire bill. My God, why am I always generous (or stupid) when I'm drunk?
THURSDAY NIGHT. Ayn and I had dinner at Sbarro, Megamall. There is nothing really special about that dinner. It's just ironic that Ayn had a whole order of ziti (pasta), and it was I who had (garden) salad.
TUESDAY NIGHT. I met up with James at GMA-Kamuning Station and walked to ABS-CBN (haha, now, that's ironic) to have some popcorn. Along the way, we stopped at some bibingka stall and bought a pair. From ABS-CBN, we walked to Ponciana's (not sure about the spelling) in Tomas Morato and had real dinner. It was nice that James loves some walkathon cos I love walking, too. It's just that most of our time was spent walking rather than eating. But it was a fun night.

You,
I'm so afraid to love you, but more afraid to lose.

Anyway, I'm ending this post with some pictures I took when I was in Palawan in May. Sorry for the quality of the pictures, I was only using my camera phone. Enjoy.
